Thirteen.

I hate odd numbers. I'm an even girl, so when we bought our unit I was less than impressed that it was an odd number, and even worse number 13! I'm not superstitious, but everyone knows that 13 is meant to be an unlucky number. 

We have lived in number 13 for almost a year now and I can't say we've had much bad luck... and I have to say that I think the numbers on our front door are totally awesome.

Dreaming of lazy summer afternoons.

I was just reading ...and three trees on the low sky, and fell in love with this verandah. It makes me long for summer, for a delicious warm breeze and a cool drink...

Any day now.

How long how long, how long will we take to come undone?

The Horse's birthday.

Today is the Horse's birthday here in the Southern Hemisphere (and has something to do with age standardisation for thoroughbreds). 

I like to imagine it's a day where horses come together and celebrate with big buckets of carrots and apples, and wear party hats and have a great old time...
