Never underestimate the importance of your shoes. Christian Dior's 'The Little Dictionary of Fashion' wisely says:

You can never take too much care in selecting shoes. Too many women think that because they are low down, shoes do not matter, but it is by her feet that you can judge whether a woman is elegant or not.

There are many different kinds of nice shoes, but they must always be well adapted to the dress you are wearing.
