My Son and I bought the 'Bourke Street Bakery' (by Paul Allam and David McGuinness) book for my Husband for Father's Day, and let me just say it's the best thing we've ever given him. We have had beautiful fresh bread on multiple occasions, as well as croissants, lemon curd tarts and grissini. We are looking forward to further exploration into the sweets section, but can't complain about what we've had so far. If I'd realised I was married to a brilliant baker, I would have bought the book ages ago!
