Lately I have become obsessed with buildings that could be considered 'ugly ducklings'. Buildings that are derelict and unloved. I feel this overwhelming urge to photograph them just incase they disappear. I find these buildings so beautiful. They are full of stories and look a little sad. Some are grand, like the old cement works at Portland, and some are tiny sheds hidden in back streets. I love the colours of the aging paint, the sometimes rusty fences and the old typography. Am I crazy or are these real beauties?

I find beauty in old derelict buildings too! My camera seems drawn to them. Great pics, lovely blog! :)
