Crazy for crates.

I have had an obsession with old crates for quite some time now. I just love them. I love the old wood, the typography and all the different uses they have (I have one outside with potted herbs on top and a small one in my laundry holding bits and bobs).

When we were in Patonga a couple of weeks ago, I saw this old shop window filled with crates. It was perfect.

If you are after a crate or two of your own, you can find them in antique/second hand stores, ebay, Etsy (but pretty much only if you're in the US), or if you're lucky – you're Grandparents shed.
