On my recent visit to Cairns, a dear friend and I shared the most delicious macaroons from a little French patisserie. We cut each one in half so we could experience each flavour, and let me tell you they were all divine! You should have seen the two of us swooning over the little round delights, crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Today I'm longing for macaroons, but let me tell you, they're not that easy to find.
